How do I think we could live forever (or at least try)
Okay, so what about the idea of eternal life? It used to be some kind of crazy sci-fi thing -- like Highlander crossed Black Mirror. And now? Scientists are tinkering with it like it's unbelievable. I've spent too much time on the internet reading about it, and here's what I found out.

Hacking our body
Our bodies are collapsing, that's a fact. But what if we could stop aging? Scientists study things like:

Cell cleansing: Our bodies accumulate bad cells. New drugs can get rid of them. Like a clean house, but for your cells.

Gene editing: CRISPR and the like – they remove bad genes that make us age or sick. It's like photoshopping your DNA. If they can do it right, we'll all be drinking at 120, still looking young.

Uploading Our Brain (It's Weird)
This is where the strangest thing begins. If the body is too difficult, why not copy the mind? Consider scanning every memory, every trait, everything that makes you you, and putting it in a computer or robot.

Will this digital you be real? Or just a copy? Deep questions. Philosophers may not like this.

Becoming a cyborg The golden mean: keep the
body, but change the parts. We are getting closer to the goal – people have pacemakers. Farther? Robotic eyes, hearts, brain chips. Gradually, you become more of a machine than a human.

Keep improving, and who knows, maybe you'll continue to work like the iPhone that never dies. (Hopefully with longer battery life.)

But what is really eternal?

It's confusing. Am I just bones and thoughts? If someone copies me, is it still me or just a fake? Who decides? It's quite difficult.

The Immortality We Already Have

While we are waiting for these crazy plans, we already have several ways to Be Immortal:

Family: Your genes, stories, recipes—they live on. You live by them.

Your creations: Write a song, paint a picture, or do something that's worth remembering. Like Shakespeare or Martin Luther King Jr. — gone, but not forgotten.

Immortality is a strange thing: maybe science can do it, or maybe it's about leaving your mark.
